Turmeric Tea with Honey
Turmeric has been in our food for more than 4000 years because of its unique taste and its medicinal properties. Drinking turmeric tea helps a lot in controling our cholestrol levels and adding honey to it instead of sugar makes it more beneficial for those who have diabetes.
Equipment
- 1 Saucepan
- 1 Strainer
- 1 Stirrer
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1/2 Cinnamon Stick
- 2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 3 Ginger Slices
Notes
- We will begin our recipe by adding a cup of water to a saucepan.
- Bring the water to a boil.
- After boiling the water reduce the flame.
- Add 2 tsp of turmeric powder and 1 tbsp of honey to it.
- Stir the mixture with the help of a stirrer for about 30 seconds.
- Add 1/2 cinnamon stick and ginger slices to the saucepan.
- Increase the flame and boil the mixture again.
- Strain your tea into a cup and your tea is ready.
