Lemon Garlic Tea – How to make Garlic Tea

 

Lemon Garlic Tea

Garlic tea is widely consumed as a remedy for cough and cold. It is recommended to drink garlic tea early in the morning.

Equipment

  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 Strainer
  • 1 Stirrer

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice or Lemon Extract
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 tsp Black Tea Leaves

Notes

  • To begin with the recipe add 1 cup of water to the saucepan.
  • Add 2 garlic cloves into the water.
  • Boil the water for 1-2 minutes on medium flame.
  • After the water starts to boil switch off the flame.
  • Add 2 tsp of honey and 1 tbsp of lemon extract to the mixture.
  • Stir the mixture for about 30 seconds to make sure that the lemon and honey gets mixed well.
  • Add 2 tsp of black tea leaves to the mixture.
  • Let the tea leaves steep for 2 minutes.
  • Again put the mixture on medium flame for 1 minute.
  • Strain your tea into a cup and serve it instantly.
