Turmeric Tea with Honey

Turmeric has been in our food for more than 4000 years because of its unique taste and its medicinal properties. Drinking turmeric tea helps a lot in controling our cholestrol levels and adding honey to it instead of sugar makes it more beneficial for those who have diabetes.

  • 1 Strainer
  • 1 Stirrer

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1/2 Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 3 Ginger Slices

Notes

  • We will begin our recipe by adding a cup of water to a saucepan.
  • Bring the water to a boil.
  • After boiling the water reduce the flame.
  • Add 2 tsp of turmeric powder and 1 tbsp of honey to it.
  • Stir the mixture with the help of a stirrer for about 30 seconds.
  • Add 1/2 cinnamon stick and ginger slices to the saucepan.
  • Increase the flame and boil the mixture again.
  • Strain your tea into a cup and your tea is ready.
